This is the Beast Spread Reverse Play – NY NY Statue of Liberty Play. As crazy as this sounds this play has become a main stay in my Beast Offense in the Power Wing Beast Offense playbook for youth football.

We just ran this play in the Spring 2025 11U Championship game for a successful 2 point conversion. The play works if you have a speedy tight end. Great misdirection play from your 5th running back the TE.
The Jumbo Statue of Liberty “New York New York” play is a great Reverse play to use if you have a tall fast Tight End that can run the football. You can also switch responsibilities of the TE and WB on this play if your TE is not a ball carrier. I like to set this play up with a few Jumbo Sweep Option passes to make the Defense shift over to trips and the Defense will fall asleep backside. This is a trick play but is very effective.

Here is some game film on the Statue of Liberty Beast Spread Reverse play.
I like to use the TE as the 5th running back like in the Crazy Heifer play. This is the TE reverse from Beast Tight.
Do you run the Beast Offense? What is your favorite play?
